Half Steps Are Better Than High Steps

The steps from the Tarnhelm's back deck down to our main salon are almost twice the height of normal stairs.

Just before starting our 2022 cruise, a shopping trip to Walmart exposed us to Yoga Blocks and an idea set in - what if we could use Yoga Blocks to even out step heights? Turned out we could!

The two pictures below show the original Yoga Blocks, but then they sat loose on the stairs.

This year Captain Phil installed new, deep-blue Yoga Blocks on our stairs, making climbing up and down much easier. Perhaps in 2024, we'll figure out a more elegant solution, but for now, these will do nicely.
