Flooding on Beach Road in Stony Point, NY
Beach Road, which runs along the Hudson River in Stony Point, New York, sits slightly above Hudson River level. While high tide normally isn't a problem, exceptionally high tide is!

Homes along this stretch are built high enough to not get swept away, but residents can't easily drive out when their only road gets flooded.
These pictures were taken by Captain Phil the day after one of the highest tides in spring. In addition to the water running over the road, anyone trying to ford the road under this condition run the risk of hitting a submerged log.

May the tides be with you!
